In my opinion, this is not necessarily a “wrong” approach—because rhinoplasty is a visually driven procedure and people naturally want to see results. However, everyone has different expectations and priorities, and there are a few key points you should pay attention to when choosing the right doctor.
The most meaningful social media posts are the ones that show long-term outcomes (after healing has progressed). In rhinoplasty, the “result” is not only what you see on the operating table.
The nose needs time to heal and often shows its true outcome more clearly after the first year. That’s why a surgeon who shares more long-term results can give you a more realistic sense of their work and experience.
